Distinguish between a, ‘I have rights mindset’ & ‘I have obligations mindset’ Instead of solely thinking that I do have inherent rights, choose to think that I do have inherent obligations. To serve the past, present & future generations, and the planet herself Stan Rushworth

A plan for business is really about how to work toward, develop and arrive at creating an integrated business plan that yields a specific aim eg. seed funding, funding, an investor or a sound business loan.

Devising your plan is essentially about merging two aspects of your life viz. your personal readiness for the progress a business plan delivers and the readiness of your business idea.

Most people like myself, who have had no formal business education or experience can describe the journey up to this point; resources like business incubation, mentorship, help from others, a developing network, connections and personal & business research are essential enablers. Wanting to start a business has lead me to numerous of the above, in my observation they compound as you and your business does and as you utilise these tools, you become accustomed to the overarching processes.

Finding the best resources available to you is largely possible through whatever tool you find most usable or accessible. Most public libraries along with internet access have a vast amount of small busieness research informtion available that will almost directly pertain to you and your business. You dont have to spend hours researching everyday since the information available is implemented into your thinking and actions in manageable amounts, your steps become bigger as you grow.

Growth at first might not mean too much financially but it invariably does mean something and will probably help you realise that you are moving toward meaningful business and personal goals.

As the aspects affecting your business life become increasingly manageable you will gain the relevant momentum and intergrate what works best toward your aims.

Keep on stepping upward and remember, YOU are your business.
